About your next car

Compare the same target car at different trade dates.

Future trade values and payoffs are projections—not appraisals, guaranteed quotes, or predictions of future loan rates.
PROJECTED EQUITY

Today vs. waiting.

Assumes steady depreciation and regular loan payments. Does not include ownership costs while waiting.

VISUAL ESTIMATE

Vehicle value vs. loan payoff

Illustrative projections based on your inputs, not a guaranteed valuation.

Highest projected equity does not necessarily mean lowest total cost. Vehicle values, loan rates, repairs and market conditions can all change.

Trade-in terms explained

Plain-English answers for first-time and experienced buyers.

What is a payoff amount?

The amount your lender says it takes to fully pay off your loan today. It may differ from the balance shown in your app because of interest or fees.

What is negative equity?

Negative equity means the payoff is greater than your trade offer. Some buyers finance that difference into a new loan, making the next vehicle more expensive.

Can I trade a leased vehicle?

Possibly. Some leasing companies limit which dealers can buy out a lease. A buyout quote is not proof that you can access the difference in cash.

How does the future projection work?

The app assumes your vehicle depreciates at the annual rate you enter and that you keep making the entered payments. These are estimates, not live appraisals.
